Twidge, a Twitter client application running on the console. It’s very simple, and of course has very limited features. You can only update the status and you have to do a reply manually. : P

Twidge is a command-line, full-functional Twitter client. It supports posting updates, retrieving information, and excellent integration with the Unix shell scripting environment via piping and well-formatted output.

First, install Twidge.

<br />$ sudo su apt-get install twidge<br />

If you prefer to use Synaptic, the installation will go more easily.

After successfully installed, setting a username & password you on Twidge Twitter.
