How To : Create Eject CD/DVD Keyboard Shortcut (HotKey) on Windows

To increase productivity, you can maximize the function keyboard with HotKey feature. I think, all OS support this feature. HotKey is a quick way to execute a command, for example to copy and paste a text/image. HotKey also can be used to eject a CD/DVD drive, you will definitely like this feature.

How to create a HotKey to eject the CD/DVD drive :

1. Download the ejectcd.exe, it’s free. (by Alex Nolan)
2. Place ejectcd.exe anywhere on your hard disk.
3. Create a desktop shortcut.

4. Add HotKey to the ejectcd desktop shortcut, set it to minimized window.

5. Test it, you’re done.
