Sn0wbreeze 1.7 has been released, you can unlock/jailbreak your iPhone 4.0.2 or earlier versions with this tool. You can do iPhone 4.0.2 jailbreak on Windows, you simply need the latest iTunes, and of course the Sn0wbreeze. Sn0wBreeze 1.7 only supports some of the following devices :
- iPhone 2G
- iPHone 3G
- iPhone 3GS
- iPod Touch 1G
- iPod Touch 2G
Now, how to iPhone 4.0.2 jailbreak :
1. Download the Sn0wbreeze 1.7 and install it.
2. Download iTunes 9.2.1 and install it (if you don’t have it)
3. Run yout iTunes and sync to your iPhone, backup all important files.
4. Download the original iOS 4.0.2 firmware
5. Start Sn0breeze and and choose “Jailbreak & Unlock Iphone 4,3G,3Gs 4.0.2/4.0.1”
6. Select the iOS 4.0.2 when asked to open.
7. Choose “Yes” when Sn0wbreeze shows a dialog.
8. Wait until Sn0wbreeze finished creating a custom .ipsw file
9. Restore the custom iOS 4.0.2 firmware to your iPhone with iTunes, go to the sidebar, press+hold “Shift” key and click “Restore“.
10. Browse your custom iOS 4.0.2 firmware file (.ipsw) and choose it.
11. Ok, let iTunes do the rest for you. Just wait..but don’t sleep. 
12. Ok, finished! You can restore all settings to your unlocked iPhone 4.0.2.
13. Reboot your iPhone.
