Several months ago I have discussed about how to make Ubuntu look like Mac with Mac4Lin. That was easy, but now you can make your Ubuntu look much like Mac easier than ever. You don’t need to change the Apple logo manually, and it will automatically install some needed compiz desktop effects to make Ubuntu has a taste of Mac. All you need is just Macbuntu.

How setup Macbuntu on Ubuntu :

1. Download Macbuntu from sourceforge
2. Go to the downloaded file folder, extract Macbuntu

$tar xzvf Macbuntu-10.10.tar.gz

3. Install it

$cd Macbuntu
$./install.sh

4. you will be prompted with some questions, just answer “Yes”. If your compiz extra plugins are not installed, it will automatically download the packages.
