Surely you ever find it annoying when you’re going to copy, rename, edit, delete, move a file. There is always a warning that your file can’t be processed because :
- Can not delete file: Access is denied
- There has been a sharing violation.
- The source or destination file May be in use.
- The file is in use by another program or user.
- Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and That the file is not currently in use.
To force the file to be processed, you can use Unlocker. This is a free tool to unlock afile from some of the things mentioned above.
1. Download the Unlocker, the install it. There is also a portable version if you don’t want to use the installer.
2. Right click on your locked file, choose Unlocker.
3. Ok, now you can delete, move, rename, copy your file. And also kill the running process that is using that file.
