SEO on Tumblr Blog

Last night I was busy fiddling with Tumblr for my personal project. Actually, I was going to use WordPress, but when I saw the Art in My Coffee blog, I realized that Tumblr was a very customizable blogging platform. Like Blogger, Tumblr allows users to edit the theme’s HTML code.

The first thing I thought last night was about SEO, how about the meta tags, alt attribute in images, URLs, search engines visibility?

Everything can be handled as long as we can edit the HTML code. Yes, we can customize meta tag, we can modify the title. Tumblr automatically add the alt in every picture and we can change the URL into descriptive URLs.

So, no problem with Tumblr’s SEO.
